OCR Alpha is seeking a Middle Office Associate to support a Macro/Credit team in New York. You will own end-to-end trade lifecycles across multiple asset classes and work closely with brokers and counterparties to ensure smooth settlements.

The role emphasizes relationship management, process improvement, and potential automation initiatives to boost operational efficiency within a leading hedge fund environment.

Formación

• Experience providing trading desk support in a buy-side organisation or investment bank.
• Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle processes across asset classes (rates, fixed income, FX, equities, commodities, credit).
• Interest in enhancing operational processes, automation and efficiency improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrators and other external counterparties.
• Coordinate settlement of FX, OTC, bonds and repo transactions; address settlement issues with brokers for timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end trade lifecycles across a broad range of asset classes, including rates, fixed income, FX, equities, commodities and credit.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrators and other external counterparties.
• Coordinate the settlement of FX, OTC, bond and repo transactions, identifying and addressing settlement issues while working closely with brokers to ensure timely resolution.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience providing trading desk support within a buy-side organisation or investment bank.
• Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle processes across multiple asset classes, including rates, fixed income, FX, equities, commodities and credit.
• An interest in enhancing operational processes, implementing automation and improving overall efficiency.
