Job summary

OCR Alpha is seeking a Middle Office Associate to support a Macro/Credit team in New York. You will own end-to-end trade lifecycles across multiple asset classes and work closely with brokers and counterparties to ensure smooth settlements.

The role emphasizes relationship management, process improvement, and potential automation initiatives to boost operational efficiency within a leading hedge fund environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing trading desk support in a buy-side organisation or investment bank.
• Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle processes across asset classes (rates, fixed income, FX, equities, commodities, credit).
• Interest in enhancing operational processes, automation and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end trade lifecycles across asset classes (rates, fixed income, FX, equities, commodities, credit).
• Develop and maintain relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrators and other external counterparties.
• Coordinate settlement of FX, OTC, bonds and repo transactions; address settlement issues with brokers for timely resolution.
