Atlantic Group is seeking a Middle Office / Operations Associate to support a sophisticated trading platform across multiple asset classes. The role offers significant visibility to senior leadership, including the CFO, COO, traders, and investment professionals.

Location is NYC with a hybrid work setup: 4 days in office and 1 day remote. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in hedge funds, prime brokers, investment banks, or fund administrators and a track record of growth in investment operations.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience within a hedge fund, prime brokerage, investment bank, or fund administrator.
• Exposure to multi-asset trading environments and investment operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated academic achievement and a track record of professional growth.
• Progress toward CFA, advanced degrees, or technical skill development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily trade lifecycle management across equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, credit, and commodities.
• Monitor trading controls, risk limits, OTC confirmations, and operational processes.
• Reconcile trade activity and resolve breaks with counterparties and brokers.
• Partner with investment, accounting, compliance, and operations teams on strategic initiatives.
• Assist with reporting, process improvements, automation projects, and trade flow enhancements.
• Support risk management, position monitoring, and operational oversight functions.
