We are partnering with a top-tier global macro hedge fund that is looking to add a Trading Assistant to its growing team. The firm has expanded significantly in recent years and now operates across multiple international markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be close to the trading desk and gain meaningful exposure to markets, trading strategies and the full trade life-cycle.

The role sits directly alongside the investment team (separate to the Operations team), working closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders as well as colleagues across Operations and Technology. You will play a key role in ensuring trades move smoothly from execution through to settlement, while also helping improve the systems and processes supporting the desk.

Career progression is ultimately geared towards a move into the front office. While the timing of this transition will depend on individual performance, business needs and opportunity, the firm has a strong track record of developing talent internally and providing clear pathways for progression.

Responsibilities will include:
