Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III to research and develop macOS-based detection techniques for our Falcon sensor.

You will collaborate with a small team of macOS engineers, extending code with Swift, C++, and Python, and shipping production-ready solutions across Windows, macOS, and Linux as needed. You will own features end-to-end, apply secure coding and performance best practices, and engage with customers to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in reverse engineering, threat detection, and malware analysis or equivalent on-device development.
• Solid macOS internals knowledge including processes, storage, networking, memory management.
• Experience delivering high-quality Swift/C/C++ enterprise software with security focus.
• Ability to work across distributed teams and contribute to production-grade endpoint sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic for CrowdStrike's macOS sensor to stop breaches.
• Research detection techniques including reverse engineering and big-data analysis.
• Own features from design to delivery for production deployment.
• Extend codebase with Swift, C++, Python and related DSLs.
• Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and respond to issues.
• Take ownership of deliverables and handle additional projects as assigned.
