CrowdStrike is seeking a capable Engineer III to research and develop detection techniques for macOS systems and to build production-ready solutions for the Falcon Sensor. You will collaborate with a nimble team of macOS engineers and leverage shared code with other OS platforms.

The role emphasizes a strong software engineering background, macOS expertise, and security experience, with opportunities to own initiatives from concept through release and post-release support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in reverse engineering, threat detection, and malware analysis.
• Experience in Swift, C/C++, or Objective-C for on-device development.
• Strong knowledge of macOS internals: processes, storage, networking, memory management.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, concurrent enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic across CrowdStrike to stop breaches.
• Research detection techniques including reverse engineering and big-data analysis.
• Own features from design to delivery for deployment in the endpoint sensor.
• Extend codebase using Swift, C++, Python, and related DSLs.
• Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, performance, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Respond to and troubleshoot product issues reported by customers.
• Take ownership of individual deliverables and pursue other projects.
