Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III to research and develop macOS detection techniques and production-ready endpoint sensor features. You’ll collaborate with a nimble macOS team and share code with Windows and Linux platforms to deliver scalable security solutions.

You will design, implement, and optimize cross-functional detection logic using Swift, C++, and Python, applying secure coding, testing, and performance best practices to help stop breaches for our global customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software/security engineering.
• Experience with macOS internals and OS-level development.
• Proficient in Swift, C/C++, or Objective-C and security-focused development.
• Strong knowledge of detection, telemetry, and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic used across teams to stop breaches.
• Research detection techniques including reverse engineering and big-data analysis.
• Own features from design to production deployment in the endpoint sensor.
• Extend codebase using Swift, C++, Python and related DSLs as appropriate.
• Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, performance tracing, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Respond to and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
• Take ownership of individual deliverables and drive them to completion.
• Take on additional projects as assigned.
