Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III to research and develop macOS malware detection techniques and production-level solutions for our Falcon endpoint sensor.

You will work with a small team of macOS engineers, leveraging shared code with Windows and Linux sensor platforms to drive end-to-end delivery. The role emphasizes deep macOS internals expertise, strong software engineering skills, and collaboration across geographically distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with either: reverse engineering, threat detection, and malware analysis, or designing/delivering software in Swift, C/C++, or Objective-C
• Solid knowledge of macOS OS internals: processes, storage, networking, and memory management
• Ability to develop high-quality code in Swift and/or C/C++ with high concurrency and performance requirements
• Ability to deliver enterprise software while collaborating across functions: CI, testing, debugging, release management, telemetry analysis
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic across teams to detect attackers and stop breaches
• Research techniques for detecting malicious activity, including reverse engineering and big-data analysis
• Own features from design to delivery for deployment in the endpoint sensor
• Extend codebase using Swift, C++, Python, and related DSLs
• Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, performance, and code reviews to ensure fast, reliable sensor code
• Collaborate with a cross-functional, distributed team
• Respond to and troubleshoot product issues reported by customers
• Take ownership of individual deliverables and take on additional projects
