Job summary

Woodward Inc. is hiring a Machinist for the 2nd shift (M-Th, 3:20pm-1:50am) at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. You will operate CNC and manual machines to produce aerospace parts, perform inspections, and follow GD&T blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Basic Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, etc.).
• Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: performs basic setup and operates CNC or Manual machines to produce precision metal parts.
• Follows detailed work instructions and interprets blueprints with GD&T knowledge.
• Performs 1st piece inspections and ensures quality standards.
• Maintains 5S and cleanliness; participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complies with safety protocols and supports team objectives.
