Woodward is hiring a 1st shift Machinist III at Loves Park Campus to support Jig Bore Machines. You will machine aerospace parts in a manufacturing environment with a focus on precision, quality, and workmanship. Experience with manual milling and GD&T is preferred.

5S, lean practices, and safety are emphasized. The role includes training during the first weeks and potential overtime. Woodward offers a comprehensive total rewards package and growth opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of manual mill experience
• Extensive knowledge of GD&T
• Previous experience performing rework

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC or manual machines to produce precision metal parts per specs.
• Perform 1st piece inspections and train in these processes.
• Follow detailed work instructions and interpret engineering blueprints with GD&T knowledge.
• Inspect finished products using gages to ensure quality.
• Champion 5S, maintain clean work areas, and support lean initiatives.
• Promote safety and align initiatives with organizational goals.
