Woodward is hiring Machinists for the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. Two levels with CNC/Manual machining in the Air Valve line on 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday with overtime. Responsibilities include machine operation, blueprint interpretation, and 5S adherence to ensure high-quality aerospace parts.

Qualifications

1+ years CNC machining experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills and data entry.
Strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC/Manual machines and perform setups for aerospace parts.
Interpret blueprints and GD&T for precision fabrication.
Perform first piece inspections and document results.
Maintain 5S and cleanliness; follow safety protocols.
Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
