Brenton LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Machinist for the night shift to set up and run open-set-up mills and lathes, including turret lathe, tapping machines, end hole machines, and saw with minimal supervision. The role requires CNC setup, blueprint reading, and high-quality workmanship. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and support world-class checkout processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run open-set up mills and lathes, including turret lathe, tapping machines, end hole machines and saw, with minimal supervision.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment when available.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship with timely completion.
• Select and apply the proper tooling for each job.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Perform hand layout and drilling as required.
• Support production checkout processes and assist supervisor with tasks as needed.

Capable of set-up and operate CNC equipment and proper application of tooling. Capable of reading and understanding blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and run open set-up mills and lathes, to include turret lathe, tapping machines, end hole machines and saw with no supervision.
• Set-up and operate CNC Equipment preferred.
• Must be able to do high quality work consistently in an acceptable amount of time.
• Proper application of tooling.
• Capable of reading and understanding blueprints.
• Capable of hand layout and drilling.
• Support world-class checkout process.
• Other tasks as requested by supervisor.
