Machinist III
We are looking for a Machinist III for our Huntersville, NC facility. This is a third shift position with core hours 10:00pm – 06:30am. Oerlikon A dditive Manufacturing (AM) produces high quality components for a variety of industries, including Aerospace, Defense, Oil and Gas, and Semiconductor. Through the use of metal additive 3D printers, we manufacture complex metal prototypes or series parts rapidly and without any tooling. The Level 3 Machinist has advanced experience and is able to work with no supervision on more complex machining tasks. They are proficient in reading blueprints and operating various machines including manual lathes, grinders, CNC lathes, and 3 axis CNC mills. They may assist in training level 1 & 2 machinists.

GD&T knowledge. Can internally train others in GD&T. Has an advanced knowledge of how the different features are measured, and how it can impact the parts. Likewise, how machined features can impact inspection (i.e. machined datums vs as printed datums)
