Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Machinist team handles assignment planning, layout, setup, operation, and adjustments for manual, CNC, and computerized machine shop equipment. Responsibilities include working from blueprints, performing metal cutting and shaping, and communicating with engineers to understand part assembly purposes. Maintaining a clean work area and following EH&S policies are essential.

This role is on first shift, 5:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., with a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule from Monday to Thursday.

  • Operate CNC machinery and perform related tasks using your technical skills.
  • Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications accurately.
  • Use CMM and digital inspection tools for quality checks.
  • Load/unload tumblers and adapt procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot operations.
  • Conduct quality inspections, document defects, and ensure standards are met.
  • Record production data accurately.
  • Handle small tools and measurement devices safely.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Candidate Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency due to ITAR restrictions.
  • Use judgment and problem-solving skills independently.
  • Follow instructions with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in confined spaces.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $24.71 to $37.02 per hour, depending on location and experience. Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
