Woodward is seeking a Machinist for 1st shift in Illinois. Set up and operate CNC lathe, CNC mill/turn, and grinders; complete paperwork; document nonconforming material; participate in root cause actions; use gauging equipment to meet specifications; obtain process certifications as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and 0–5 years' related experience; training and development opportunities, competitive benefits, and a strong safety culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Machinist I requires a High School Diploma and 0–2 years’ related experience or equivalent.
• Machinist II requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years’ related experience.
• Ability to read drawings, interpret tolerances and use basic inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe, CNC Mill/Turn, and CNC OD/ID grinders.
• Document workmanship and nonconformances; support root-cause actions.
• Use gauging equipment to ensure parts meet specifications and record results.
