Job summary

Woodward is seeking skilled machinists to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC Lathe, Mill/Turn, and OD/ID grinders, inspect parts, and follow detailed work instructions to maintain quality across production runs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 0–5 years’ related experience, with knowledge of CNC programming and measurement tools. We offer strong benefits, training, and a stable evening shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 0–2 years’ related work or equivalent.
• Machinist II requires 2–5 years’ related experience and inspection skills.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and reading drawings is essential for both levels.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe, CNC Mill/Turn, or CNC OD/ID Grinder.
• Document procedures and inspect machined parts for conformance.
• Use gauging equipment and records to ensure compliance with engineering specs.
• Obtain required process certifications as needed.
