Job summary

TAE Technologies is seeking a Machinist Fabricator to set up and operate machine tools for precision parts and instruments. You will plan machining work, select tools, and verify parts while maintaining a safe, efficient shop environment.

The role requires 2–5 years in manual mill/lathe setup and CNC programming (Anilam preferred), with proficiency in Mastercam, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence, and Office. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years manual mill and lathe setup experience.
• 2–5 years CNC programming and setup (Anilam preferred).
• Experience with machine tools and metrology tools.
• Ability to work with little supervision and in a team.
• Proficient in Mastercam, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence, and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
• Select tools and plan material usage to optimize efficiency.
• Measure and verify parts, ensure adherence to tolerances and safety standards.
• Maintain tools and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Communicate project progress and status to team.
