Job summary

TAE Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Machinist Fabricator to set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts. You will work with mechanical structures, troubleshoot, and repair in situ as needed, while ensuring safety and quality.

The role involves welding knowledge and collaboration with the team on progress and improvements. Experience with manual mills/lathe setups and CNC programming is required, along with proficiency in Mastercam, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years manual mill and lathe setup experience.
• 2–5 years CNC programming and setup; Anilam preferred.
• Experience with fabrication shop tools and metrology tools.
• Ability to work with little supervision and in a team.
• Proficiency with Mastercam, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Plan machining by studying orders, drawings, materials, and GD&T.
• Plan material and tools; manage on-hand inventory and sourcing.
• Select proper machine tools for efficient, accurate work.
• Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and samples to standards.
• Maintain tools and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot malfunctions.
