Job summary

The University of Oklahoma's Sooner Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory is seeking a Machinist to support the fabrication and integration of components using additive and traditional manufacturing equipment. This role programs and operates metal additive manufacturing systems and CNC machines to produce finished components, fixturing, and tooling for engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 54 months of related machinist/engineering experience.
• 30 months of machinist, electronics or engineering experience.
• Equivalency: 24 months' experience accepted in lieu of the degree.

• Program and operate metal additive manufacturing and CNC machines.
• Fabricate components, fixturing, and tooling for engineering systems.
• Assist in electrical and mechanical integration for research projects.
