Essential Responsibilities
- Operate mills (Doosan, Haas, Makino) and lathes (Femco, Haas, Okuma, Romi, manual, VTL)
- Perform machine set-up
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Read gauges and other inspection equipment to confirm conformity, and accuracy, of work
- Determine the best machining methods and sequence of operations
- Hold tight dimensional tolerances
- Run multiple machines concurrently
- Diagnose & troubleshoot equipment that affects quality, productivity, or safety
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Qualifications and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent is required
- Background in aerospace is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
