Purpose of Position:
Join our dynamic team to perform setups, machine adjustments, minor repairs, testing, calibration, and operation of CNC and manual machinery. You'll play a key role in implementing programs to minimize production changeovers and machine downtime, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Pay Range is $22-$34

**$4000 Sign-on Bonus - Partial pay out at time of hire and remaining paid out throughout first year of employment**

Position Description:

  • Interpret and Execute:Read and interpret complex oral, written, and visual instructions for machine setup.
  • Precision Setup:Set up machines or cells of machines according to instructions or established practices, ensuring the use of proper tools and setup sheets.
  • Maintain Excellence:Make checks, adjust tools, and program parameters to maintain proper dimensions, coolant, and lubrication levels.
  • Operate with Skill:Operate designated machines as instructed, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Efficient Cleanup:Break down setups and clean up the work area as directed.
  • Documentation:Create, save, and establish setup sheets, with programs stored on the network for future use.
  • Quality Assurance:Obtain first piece inspection for runs exceeding three pieces and approve setups based on measurements made at the cell.
  • Report and Resolve:Report equipment malfunctions, material discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the supervisor.
  • Continuous Learning:Complete all relevant training provided by Power Transmission Solutions.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:Maintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Team Collaboration:Promote team concepts and train new employees.
  • Compliance:Understand and adhere to all relevant ISO 9001 QOPs and API 671 guidelines.
  • Adaptability:Perform any other related duties as directed.

Special Skills:

  • Instruction Interpretation:Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out job instructions.
  • Mathematical Proficiency:Proficiency in arithmetic, decimals, and fractions.
  • Technical Expertise:Experience with complex products, machines, programming, and processes such as heat treatment, gear cutting, grinding, and complex turning and milling utilizing multiple machine axes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Strength and Mobility:Must be able to lift, move, and manipulate up to 35 lbs.
  • Endurance:Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods.
