Your responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Knowledge or background in the following. Other duties may be assigned. This is a 3rd shift position.

1. Read and understand GD&T on drawings
2. Set-up machining center to process components to the drawing(s)
3. Fanuc control knowledge with use of G&M codes
4. Tooling verification and work shift setting from programming
5. Drawing datum understanding
6. Quality machinist tools (supplied) to inspect machined components
7. Review of speeds and feeds to yield quality parts
8. Safe Crane & Rigging background for loading and moving of components
9. Legibly document dimensional values and maintain orderly documentation
10. Properly maintain machine(s) to ensure maximum machine performance
11. Maintain a neat and orderly work area and perform all duties and operations safely, following all company rules and safety procedures

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical skills in blue print reading and GD&T.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals. Knowledge of metric conversions. Ability to apply basic algebra and plane geometry.
• Computer and electronics knowledge, including familiarity with electronic equipment and software like Fiix and production data recording tools.
• Active learning ability to understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED. Previous machining experience required.
