Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc in Staunton, VA is seeking a 2nd shift fabrication worker. The role involves reading blueprints, welding, working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and ensuring ASME compliance.

Starting wage is $28.00 per hour plus a $2.30 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift. This position offers PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and career growth within a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for the majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries, and other instructions
• Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials
• Operate various tools and equipment used in fabrication, handling, manipulation and movement of Chiller Product and various welding techniques
• Perform within and have working knowledge of ASME Code regulations
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards
• Maintain required records

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials
