Job summary

DuPont is hiring experienced Machinists for the 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Stow, OH site. The role involves setup and operation of CNC and manual machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring aerospace-grade tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months machining experience or training.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Experience with composites, metals, or aluminum extrusions.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Able to read CNC programs.
• Proficient in shop math, geometry, and conversions.
• Knowledge of FANUC controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (HAAS, grinders, lathes, mills) for aerospace-grade parts.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Read blueprints and verify against quality gauges.
• Monitor quality, troubleshoot errors, and communicate with engineering.
• Read and interpret process instructions and drawings; ensure attention to detail.
• Participate in customer audits and certification programs.
• Audit processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Maintain quality metrics and support continuous improvement.
