Job summary

DuPont is seeking a skilled Machinist for its Valley View, OH site, a climate-controlled facility near Cleveland. The role involves setting up and operating CNC and manual machines to produce high-precision aerospace components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of machining experience or related training.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Experience machining composites, metals, and/or aluminum extrusions.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines for a diverse range of products.
• Read blueprints and use gauges to verify tolerances.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Monitor quality and troubleshoot to resolve operating errors.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
• Participate in customer audits and continuous improvement programs.
