Job summary

DuPont in Stow, OH is seeking a Machinist on 1st shift to operate CNC and manual machines across aerospace-grade parts. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, and ensuring quality with gauges and SPC practices.

The successful candidate will have machining experience with composites, metals, or aluminum extrusions, and may participate in audits and training programs. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (grinders, mills, lathes, hones).
• Read blueprints and verify work with quality gauges.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and help drive improvements.
• Confer with engineering and supervision on technical details.
• Support audits and participate in training programs.
