Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Machinist role based in Travis County, TX. The Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures, performing machine offsets and adjustments, inspecting parts using measurement instruments, and maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards. The role involves interpreting blueprints and CAD/CAM outputs, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to refine processes, and documenting work as required for traceability. Daily tasks also include maintaining a clean and safe work area, performing basic machine maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications
  • Strong CNC machining skills, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of multi-axis machine tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM outputs.

  • Experience in aerospace, medical, semiconductor, or other high-precision manufacturing environments is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a machining apprenticeship or technical program is preferred.
