Job summary

North Fort Worth company is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join their team. The role focuses on producing and modifying parts for production and assembly, using manual engine lathes, radial drill presses, surface grinders and other equipment.

Candidates should have prior manual machining experience, the ability to read metric drawings, GD&T proficiency, and experience with precision measuring tools. Crane and forklift experience and the handling of large parts are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous manual machining experience.
• Experience with manual lathes, drill presses and surface grinders.
• Tolerance capability to 0.0005" / 0.010 mm.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to read metric drawings and tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Able to handle large parts; crane and forklift experience.
• Gear or gearbox experience is a plus.
• Relevant education or industry experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $22-27/hr

• Machine and modify parts needed for production and assembly
• Operate manual engine lathes, radial drill presses, surface grinders and other manual machining equipment
• Fabricate and modify tooling
• Perform thread tapping and center-forming
• Work from drawings, measurements and tolerances
• Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and thread gauges
• Work with both metric and standard measurements

Requirements
