Aerotek in Troy, NY is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills and lathes, producing quality parts in a 1st shift environment from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A minimum of 1 year hands-on CNC experience is required; overtime is available but not required.

You will load materials, start production, inspect parts with calipers and gauges, troubleshoot alarms, and work with maintenance to keep safety and productivity high.

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating vertical and horizontal CNC mills and lathes to produce quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a minimum of 1+ year of hands‑on CNC machining experience, including loading materials, running production cycles, and maintaining production output goals. The role also involves troubleshooting basic machine issues, responding to alarms, restarting equipment when needed, and working closely with the production team to maintain safety, quality, and productivity throughout the shift.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr.
