We have an exciting opportunity for a MACHINIST at our PROVIDENCE, RI location.

Objectives:

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual lathes to produce precision parts for our air gaging and metrology equipment products.
• Set up and operate conventional milling machines to produce products to accurate tolerances and surface finishes.
• Perform in process inspections of the parts from Engineering prints using various inspection equipment provided by Mahr.

Requirements:

• High school or vocational training and 3 to 5 years of previous machining experience.
• Attention to detail and the ability to use inspection tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, comparators and indicators.
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Strong blueprint reading, math and measuring skills.
