Job summary

LS Solutions is seeking a skilled technician to support machining and tooling for stamping dies, aluminum die cast, and plastic molds across North American auto plants. You will assist development teams, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure molds and jigs run smoothly in manufacturing.

The role involves working with production tooling in dusty environments, operating overhead cranes, and occasional travel with overtime, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience or related degree in machining, CNC programming, die finishing, etc.
• Experience with operation of large to medium CNC machining centers, die/mold machining, basic computer proficiency, and G-code programming.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor molds, dies, and jigs.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to troubleshoot and repair tooling.
• Identify process and quality improvements.
• Support new model activities.
• Participate in tests and trials under supervision.
• Assist team members as needed.
