Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking an EDM Sales Liaison to join the Inside Sales Department. The role focuses on supporting sales growth by identifying opportunities, cultivating customer relationships, and aiding the sales process for machine tool products.

The position offers exposure to prospecting, sales process management, customer engagement, and sales administration, with travel across North America to support dealers and close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing/sales, engineering or related field.
• Two years of experience in sales or marketing in the machining/industrial equipment sector.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Self-motivated and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between sales staff and dealers to assist in closing orders.
• Assist the sales team in closing new sales.
• Provide pricing, inventory, order status, and processing updates to the sales network.
• Make recommendations on actions regarding machines and customers.
• Prepare reports for dealer evaluations, Salesforce forecasting, and market analysis.
• Support Sales Operations and maintain client relationships.
• Present and demonstrate products to clients, highlighting benefits and features.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals with outside sales team.
• Inform clients of shipping dates and delays; manage information flow.
• Train and onboard junior sales representatives as the team grows.
