Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC is seeking a first shift Manufacturing Operator to produce blades and perform quality checks. The role requires working overtime as needed and operating multiple production machines.

You will read process sheets, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, document TPM results, shadow/train others, keep the area clean (6S), and maintain safety and quality standards. Shift: Mon–Thu, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience or education or advanced manufacturing certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce blades and perform all quality checks.
• Shift work and overtime as needed.
• Read and interpret process sheets and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Perform Daily TPM and document results.
• Train other operators (Level II/III) through shadowing.
• Keep work area clean (6S) and adhere to standard work.
• Operate a variety of production machines and set up machines.
• Support department objectives and develop skills.
