Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC, is hiring for a Weekend Day Shift production role. You will operate a range of production machines on the line to build blades and vanes, perform quality checks, and document setup and run data.

This onsite position requires the ability to work weekends, overtime, and maintain 5S standards. The role involves reading process sheets, using gauges, deburring, adjusting setups, and logging labor in Solumina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Previous manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines on the line and perform routine operations to produce blades and/or vanes with quality checks.
• Read and interpret process sheets and gauges, perform deburrs, adjust as needed, and document setup information.
• Clock labor in Solumina, perform Daily TPM, and document results.
• Keep equipment and work area clean (5S) and ensure safety and efficiency.
