Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a production supervisor to lead a team in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on machining operations, with potential oversight of assembly or welding, and requires strong leadership and a deep machining background.

The candidate will drive safety, quality, and efficiency, manage schedules and labor, and ensure adherence to work instructions while aligning with lean manufacturing principles. US citizenship and DoD screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering background is a plus.
• Four year machinist journeyman graduate is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in MasterCam and CNC Machining is a plus.
• Basic computer skill with the ability to use Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Supervises development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor; develops schedules and manpower requirements.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• Supervise represented employees including interpretation and administration of labor agreements.
