Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our Bethlehem, PA facility. The role leads materials management across purchasing, planning, inventory, shipping, and stockroom operations to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

You will drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and manage a multi-disciplinary team to optimize material flow and compliance. Responsibilities cover purchasing strategy, demand forecasting, MRP optimization, and logistics,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary supply chain teams.
• Strong working knowledge of industry compliance.
• Deep experience with enterprise resource planning systems and warehouse management systems.
• Proven track record in inventory optimization, supplier management, and material availability performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials, components and services for production and aftermarket operations.
• Establish purchasing policies, sourcing strategies, and negotiation frameworks aligned with compliance and cost targets.
• Oversee material requirements planning, demand forecasting, and production scheduling to ensure on-time material availability.
• Optimize MRP parameters to balance working capital and production needs.
• Oversee inventory control, ensure accuracy, cycle counts, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and enforce inventory strategies to minimize excess and protect production continuity.
• Lead inbound/outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, freight and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and customer flow-down specifications.
• Develop departmental budget, capital planning, and cost-reductions initiatives.
