Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Machining Assistant in our Lancaster, PA location.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The ideal candidate will deburr machined components produced in the CNC machining center and perform final visual inspections to ensure all parts meet quality standards before shipping to the customer. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and precision of components used in aerospace and defense applications. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will have a direct impact on our operational success and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions and basic math skills. Work with Quality Control to ensure each part meets Boyd’s Quality standard and pack them for shipping. Perform repetitive motion activities on a daily basis. Lift parts that may weigh up to 70 lbs. with assistance. Clean Parts using Crest Workstation. Completes shop floor traveler documents. Provide routine Maintenance on equipment. Work in the Production area as workloads require.

QUALIFICATIONS
