Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a maintenance technician to support planning of maintenance schedules and execute maintenance tasks on site in Fort Mill, SC. You will analyze issues, complete repairs, and prepare machines for operation through ramp up and start procedures.

The role requires navigating electrical systems, reading blueprints, and using power tools, with emphasis on accuracy, safety and clear English communication. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with extensive field experience.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and operate complex machinery.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience with power tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning of maintenance schedules and perform maintenance assignments.
• Analyze technical issues, complete repairs and work orders for electrical systems.
• Execute ramp up, setup and start procedures to prepare machines and equipment.
• Contribute to installation projects on site and support Industrial Engineers.
• Maintain and document processes and equipment documentation.
• Ensure compliance of technical documentation for processes and equipment.
• Follow safety and production rules and use PPE properly.
