Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Project Administrator for our Huntsville, AL site to coordinate machine tool projects from kickoff through installation and closeout.

You will serve as a central point between Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Service, Sales, suppliers, and customers, maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables, organizing files, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation, schedules, spreadsheets, and project trackers.
• Experience coordinating equipment installation or capital equipment projects.

Responsibilities

• Support machine tool projects from kickoff through installation, customer acceptance, and final closeout.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, action-item lists, and status trackers.
• Coordinate activities between Engineering, Purchasing, Service, Sales, suppliers, and customers.
• Track project deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and documentation requirements.
• Organize and maintain accurate project files, records, and revision-controlled documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings; prepare agendas, meeting notes, and action-item follow-ups.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and elevate concerns as needed.
• Track supplier commitments, purchased components, delivery schedules, and required documentation.
• Coordinate factory acceptance testing, machine deliveries, installations, training, and customer acceptance activities.
• Monitor site readiness, installation requirements, punch lists, and outstanding project items.
• Provide regular project status updates and support effective communication among all stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout activities, including final documentation, acceptance records, and project archiving.
