Machine Set-Up Operator

Pay: $20–$24/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:30 AM–9:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machine Set-Up Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on machine setup and changeover experience who is comfortable working with dies, disassembling and reassembling equipment, and preparing machines for production.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare manufacturing machinery for production
• Perform machine changeovers between different products or production runs
• Safely disassemble and reassemble machine components as needed
• Install, remove, and work with dies and related tooling
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper production specifications
• Inspect equipment and tooling before and after setup
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and setup issuesEnsure machines are running properly and efficiently
• Follow established safety procedures and production requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate equipment or production issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel
• Perform other manufacturing and machine setup duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on machine setup or machine changeover experience required
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with dies, tooling, or machine components
• Comfortable taking machines apart and putting them back together
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
