Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts or products. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
  • Monitor machine operation during production to detect and resolve issues or malfunctions.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment.
  • Communicate issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with other production duties as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, or blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
