Job summary

Forvia is seeking a seasoned HSE leader to drive machine safety programs across NAO Tech Center locations. You will coordinate with plant HSE teams and program managers, maintain CMSE certification, and ensure compliance with global guidelines.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with advanced HSE credentials and experience in multi-site environments, including risk assessment, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, to support safe equipment launches and strong safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master's or higher (Bac+5) with HSE specialization or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in HSE management across multi-site industrial environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead NAO Tech Center locations HSE activity and ensure work practices are in place.
• Manage and lead administration of Machine Safety compliance programs.
• Execute the Division HSE Machine Safety Program and coordinate with Plant HSE and Program Managers.
• Maintain knowledge of government, industry, and corporate guidelines.
• Serve as CMSE and maintain required certifications.
• Review machinery safety specs with engineers, suppliers, and plants to ensure safe new equipment processes.
• Support successful completion of new and revised program launches.
• Lead or participate in plant machinery audits and follow up on recommendations.
• Monitor and support plants in reporting HSE indicators and metrics.
• Support top management commitment to NAO HSE management systems.
• Propose continuous improvement ideas for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization and site.
