Job summary

Caterpillar North Little Rock AR is seeking a Machine Repair Trainee for the 2nd shift to diagnose, repair, and assemble components on fully built machines, ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will operate on an assembly line, utilize voltmeter and hydraulic knowledge, and support continuous improvement. The role requires the ability to sit/stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience is required.
• Willingness to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and work on multiple operations.
• Excellent attendance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical defects on machines.
• Operate heavy machinery safely on test stands inside/outside the building.
• Disassemble, rebuild and reinstall machine components using provided tools.
• Drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements with peers and teams.
