Job summary

Empire Cat seeks a rentals coordinator to manage equipment requests from initial inquiry through billing, maintaining accurate inventory and promoting rental solutions to customers.

You will support Account Managers and Rental Territory Managers, ensuring timely processing of charges, tire wear, transport, and customer inquiries while adhering to safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
• 24 months minimum experience in Rental Industry or EM Rental.
• In‑depth knowledge of Caterpillar product line.
• Proficiency in DBS, Excel and Word.
• Ability to perform clerical tasks and type at least 30 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Process rental requests and manage credits and charges.
• Maintain inventory records for rental equipment and status.
• Provide strong customer contact to promote rental equipment.
• Assist Account Managers and Rental Territory Managers with accounts.
• Dispatch transport for pickup/delivery of machines.
• Maintain phone logs and ensure effective communication with sales teams.
