Scot Forge in Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Rebuild / Repair Technician to join our team. You will diagnose, repair, rebuild, install, and modernize heavy industrial machinery used in aerospace, energy, mining, and transportation.

This 3rd shift position offers a 10% shift differential and an ESOP, plus comprehensive benefits; you will read blueprints, work with hydraulic and electrical components, and help maximize uptime while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic schematics and mechanical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install heavy industrial machinery and machine tools.
• Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, test, and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and documentation.
