Job summary

Scot Forge, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks experienced maintenance professionals to keep heavy industrial equipment running in a high-demand forge operation. Join either our maintenance or machine rebuild teams and advance through hands-on training and development.

Qualifications

Two or more years of industrial maintenance, machine repair, machine rebuilding, equipment installation, or related experience.
Mechatronics Apprenticeship or Technical Degree program enrollment or completion.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong communication skills and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy industrial equipment and production machinery.
Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to support safe operations.
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns with proper repairs.
Install, align, fit, assemble, and upgrade machinery components.
Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
Inspect cranes, hoists, furnaces, and other equipment.
Read blueprints and technical manuals while following safety procedures.
