Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking Maintenance Technicians, Mechanics, and Machine Repair Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy industrial equipment at our Spring Grove facility. You will work on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial or plant maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 60 feet.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment problems and rebuild heavy industrial machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Complete welding, fabrication, brazing, and torch work as needed.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Support continuous improvement while promoting a safe work environment.
