Role Overview

Under supervision, performs routine activities related to assembly machine operation and setup, following established procedures with limited discretion. Reads specifications to adjust machines and handle material requirements. Develops skills through on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Ensures parts meet quality and tolerance standards.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools.
• Maintains production logs and records.
• Reports errors leading to rejects.
• Inspects equipment before use and performs basic adjustments.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years relevant experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Interpretation of job specifications for machinery.
