Role Overview

Under supervision, performs routine activities related to assembly machine operation and setup, following established procedures with limited discretion. Reads job specifications for machine adjustments and material requirements, and develops intermediate skills through on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Ensure the production of parts within specified tolerances and quantities.
• Measure finished parts for quality compliance using precision tools.
• Maintain logs and report errors or rejected parts.
• Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure proper setup and operation.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Interpret and translate job specifications for machinery.
• Solid understanding of production equipment.
