Role Overview

Under supervision, applies general knowledge and skills to perform routine activities related to assembly machine operation and setup. Handles non-routine tasks or problems, follows established procedures, and may have limited discretion to modify methods. Reads job specifications for machine adjustments and material requirements. Develops intermediate knowledge through on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Produces parts within specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools to ensure quality.
• Maintains logs of units produced.
• Reports errors leading to rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment before use and performs basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Follows safety regulations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret job specifications for machinery.
• Solid understanding of production equipment.
